Hello everyone, I have a new Canon Pixma TS5320 printer and it won't print because it keeps saying that the paper cartridge isn't installed even though it is. I watched the instruction videos and read the instructions and don't see what I'm doing wrong, if anything. The printer is brand new, and I managed to print 4x6 photos from the rear paper feeder, but I can't get it to print on regular paper from the cartridge in the front. If anyone sees this who has some ideas, I could really use your help!
I do not have your specific printer, but know that printers can be finicky if paper is not loaded into guides, over loaded, if cartridge and paper type do not match. Luckily i found canon made a video to confirm several of these questions I would have in your position with that printer in specific. Can you verify if you are following the described and maybe we can figure out where things are going sideways for you?
Hi, I really appreciate your input. I watched the short instructional video from Canon and made sure that the paper tray isn't overloaded and that the guides are up against the sides of the paper. It keeps saying the cartridge isn't installed properly but I'm clicking it into place as far as I can tell. It's a cheap printer so the parts don't have a nice definitive "click" that lets you know that it's really in place, but I push the cartridge in as far as it goes and everything is set as it's supposed to be. I was having an issue originally with the printer thinking that I was trying to print a picture (from the rear tray) but I was able to change that. I actually was able to print from the rear tray without a problem.
