    Frozen fine art?

    It looks as if flowers have been frozen in a block of ice, and the photographed.

    I would be trying trail and error. Just start with seeing what happens when you freeze a flower in a block of ice. See if you can succeed with that for starters.

    YES, these were simple Frozen in an ordinary Freezer Box on my Refrigerator ... in a Ice-cream container.

    I hope you do not mind but I intend to nick your idea and use it in my photography class I teach. I was thinking of shining some light into the ice to see the effect my be different colours.

    if you use resin instead of ice you dont have to worry about them melting

    YES, of course IF YOU have a Truckload of Money to waste then I truly would go or at least try it that way as well! Here in NZ you cannot get Resin to a reasonable price at all ... so water it has to be! rgs
