A couple of shots of another piece of old machinery found at the garden centre. Wrong colour for the August Challenge unfortunately. I'm not too sure this was a type of mower but it does look similar to one I saw at a vintage machinery rally a few years ago.
I suspect it might be a rotary tiller (rotovator) with the blue casing at the back housing the rotating blades. Could well be a home-made adaptation of a commercial machine.
It does look as though it's something that has been cobbled together round the bottom half doesn't it.
