Greetings and many thanks for your glowing review. I believe this lens mated with the 7D MK II does create quite a dynamic duo. It is sharper at the long end than the EF-S 18~135mm, IS, STM lens. The only issue I have with using a telephoto for close ups of Floral images is compression where it pulls the background in close to the subject. I'm fortunate to get away with it in this effort. Thanks again, Mate. )
Backgrounds are always nicer when they have a good bokeh effect and separation from the main subject. I've been lucky to get this using my Tamron 18-400 at 400mm. Keep up the good work mate!
