I actually feel pretty good about it. I tend to think it is due to the quality of the gear and the fact that I have the preset resolution at 480 X 720 or Vice Versa because it is a vertical capture. When uploaded onto Pentaxforums, it also turned out very nicely, (although not 100 % of the original) and I suppose I will have to further pursue the solution there. Please tell me your impression of this image. Thnx, Tony

I would be happy with this image Tony. I am not sure how much more sharpness you would get if you uploaded a higher resolution image.

Gary, I adjusted the size to 700 X 1050. You can see the obvious differences in flatness and softness. I cannot go lower than 700 on either side due to the other sites that I belong to. The only thing I can do is to affect editing at this size initially and use it for the other sites.
I am all ears for helpful hints and suggestions.

    Cheers, Tony

Gary, this is the Edited version of the same image. I did not adjust the resolution. It is not too bad, so I may have to settle with this. Now the Acid Test is to see how well this version uploads onto PentaxForums. BTW, PentaxForums's recommended resolution is 1024 X 680. Higher or lower and the system will automatically resize the image.

    Cheers,
    Tony

Gary, I went ahead and edited the image and then posted in Pentaxforums and it turned out to be very nice. So perhaps the answer is to
start out small and then make necessary adjustments. I recall Johnsey stating that it was not a good idea to start small and go big, however at this point I am willing to "Give it a Go." Will keep you posted.

    Hey Tony,

I have flicked between the two images a good few times now. I think that I can see more detail in the last image that you have posted. Not much more, but it is there, and you have to look for it.

Hello Gary, well I went ahead and posted a photo of a Dahlia flower on PentaxForums with the lower resolution and it turned out awful. I had to of course delete the thread, rework the image and upload it again and it turned out to be just okay. This really is a mystery and I have to admit it is getting under my fingernails and I am not sure which as to which direction to go to now. Thanks again, Tony
