Looking for recommendations on an online photography class for a beginner using the 5D Mark IV IV. Thank you for any help.
in addition to youtube, there are lots of platforms that do classes that should have intro to photography, things such as Coursera or Udemy and Lynda. There are also podcasts out there that have episodes on the basics if that is your sort of thing. I have followed the art of photography on youtube for years, I think he had some introduction topics at the beginning 15 years ago, but that channel may be better after you have some of the basics down. I listen to a podcast called the two hosers photo show, mainly for the banter of the two hosts, but it started by the one guy teaching his friend how to use the dslr 12 years ago so it does talk through the basics of learning to use your camera. There are plenty of free tutorials to get you started out there. You have a very nice camera, which could be a bit daunting and feel like overkill starting out with, but should suit you for many years to come. Be sure to invest in good lenses, that is where the image quality comes from. I only upgraded to that camera from my 5d mk 2 a few years back now.
