    Hi all,

Grzegorz from Poland here. I have canon EOS 80d ( i bought used one) I have a problem in Av mode. Today in normal day light i set ISO 200 shutter f/2.8 ( i tried three different lenses ) and in Av mode it set time to 10 sec ... As you expect instead of photo i got white blurry screen. I tried with other lenses with other shutter values, it is always the same it sets time to extremally hugh value. What is strange auto mode works properly, Tv also. Do you have any idea of what could be the reason of this ?

welcome to the forum, Grzegorz. have a look at your exposure compensation/ AEB setting, it may have been put on a high value. This will cause the the problem. To find the setting press the Q button and it will be a scale from -3 to +3 , make sure it is on 0.

Hi Craing. Thx for reply, it wasn;t exposure compensation, i checked this option. After all i decided that factory reset should be solution. And it was solution, I don't know what was the problem but at least i have working Av mode :)

was it possible you hit exposure lock? do you still have any of those images to check the exit data?

glad its working now either way, might be worth replicating the tests to see if you can see what caused it incase its a simple setting change if it happens again
