These are two images I took on my very first outing with the EOS-1Ds I was given. They were taken as JPGs at ISO200 as I then did not know how to change or set any of the menus. I did not have a lens and had to borrow a Canon 24-105mm for the day. But I knew how to turn it on and where the shutter button was. The images I took were great and I knew immediately that I was very fortunate to now own this FF camera. My mates and I were visiting an historic place with the not very pretty name of the Parramatta Female Factory. You can read more about it here: http://www.parragirls.org.au/ It is good that this piece of history is being retained for posterity.
