On my walk I came across this roadside poppy, the first I've seen this year but it's not looking it's best though. It may have been tricked by the UK weather, on Saturday last it was a sunny 23ºC in my back garden, this morning it is 11ºC and raining. <stage whisper:> I had to give it a bit of a boost to bring some colour to it's cheeks at the risk of blowing out the reds.
