I sent just over £11 on a 'Tourist Trip' by train from BRENTWOOD, Essex to LONDON using my 2008 10MP EOS 1000D . I started from St Paul's Station , across Millenium Bridge to South Bank of The Thames. along to Southwark then back across London Bridge to Bank Station -- it was SUNNY and HOT ! I used several lenses -- TOKINA AF 20-35mm F3.5-4.5 . CANON EF 50mm f1.7, CANON EF 28-105mm f4-5.6 and CANON EF 75-300mm f4-5.6 Mk III I took one of the ALTAR in Southwark Cathedral with the 50 BUT it was OUT OF FOCUS !! The 1000D Let me Down so show only the Roof shot ( but I DID join in the Sunday Hymns and some Prayers and felt better afterwards ! ) The Bloke wearing Spiderman was a TENOR in a small street by Southwark Cathedral ! I got SHAKESPEARE in the Cathedral Grounds the Shot of St Paul's shows the Brave Firefighters who Saved it from FIRE in 1940 when all the buildings around it were destroyed by German Bombs -- luckily they MISSED St Pauls but I remember the RUINS for years afterwards -- West Berlin was rebuilt BEFORE that area of LONDON !
Of all your images, Peter, I like the bridge with the city skyline in the background, even though it has a lot of elements in it, it is still pleasing to the eye.
