R5 Raw - accidentally shooting 16:9 ratio - amend

    Canon r5
    Not sure if this is a camera or photoshop forum question

    just noticed my r5 RAW shots today are 16:9 ratio not full…..noticed some lines on preview images

    am hoping with the miracle of tech, as they are RAW files they can be converted back to Full ratio?

    Not sure about the R5 but all Canon cameras I have used ignore the in-camera settings and save raw files as the complete uncropped frame.

    when you say preview that will be jpeg, what are the actual images like?
