R7 with 500mm f4L IS test shot.

    Thank you Gary. When everything works right the image produced by this camera is fantastic. I still do not like the EVF because it is not as I see things, it is what a mini-tv sees. Also too, it is very time-consuming to change aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings. I like the electronic shutter and the quietness of it.

    as mentioned looks promising, a camera i have considered specifically to run with my bigger lenses like the sigma 150-600mm.

    as for the evf, its a device i started out with (M50),when i got back into photography nearly 4 years ago, being 53 now i do like the focus aids it offers esp the x5 / 10 magnification, down side to the one on the M50 can be some lag when shooting fast burst, not sure what the R7 is like, one would hope its a fair bit better for the price / development.
