    Hi Craig,

I am sure in its day it was a good place to fish off. It is fenced off as it is not in a safe state to walk along. It looks as if it is going to collapse in places. The locals are trying to save it, but I have no idea where they are with that project.

I thought that it looked a bit dangerous from that first shot. You have now shown why it is closed off. Where were you to take this shot?

Both shots were taken from land.

I like the subject, it gives me lots of possibilities, the location is pretty close to home, there are nice walking paths along the coast line, not a lot of people go there, and there is a couple of nice eating places nearby as well.

What more could you ask for?

    Plus,

There is a nice formal garden a five minute drive down the road with lots of sculptures in the grounds, some of which are in the B&W thread.

An overview. With Lyttelton harbour on the hills on the left side.
