Hello! Recently, my 77D developed a thin thread-like digital line through around the middle of my shots. It’s not anything physical, like a hair, because it changes color depending on the subject. And it’s not a lens either, as it comes up on any lens I put on. Nothing major happened to my camera before it came up. I simply changed a battery while I was using it, and BOOM it was there. Here’s a before and after. Well video has a 30 min cap for heating issues. I guess its possible that the sensor has developed this from extended use. I can't speak from experience I have not used my DSLR in this manner. I would double check and see if you can install a newer firmware or reinstall if you are current. If its a software glitch that should resolve it. Otherwise its hardware and you'll have to contact Canon.
