Hi Kevin. I don't know if I'm wasting my time here or not, but I'm going to offer some constructive critique on this one. The image is way over exposed. The top half of the pony and sky is completely blown with no detail - try spot metering for the subject and shoot RAW. That way you can adjust the white balance in post. Check your histogram. If the histogram is spiked on the right, increase the shutter speed. If it is clipped to the left decrease the shutter speed or raise the ISO, which modern cameras can handle easily. This one shows the right hand side completely spiked which kills the detail, so an increase in shutter speed would have perhaps given a better exposure. Have a look at this site and read about the HISTOGRAM It is well worth getting an understanding of the histogram to give you an idea of how you can adjust your cameras setting in the field to get a good exposure.
