    Hey everyone,

I have been shooting with this issue for a few years now and I typically just edit it out in Photoshop, but I've noticed a strange halo showing in my photos, no matter the zoom, though it typically shows more in sunlight. I also notice it being dark on some photos, which completely breaks my brain. It isn't (that I can tell) in ALL my photos, or at least I can't see it in them all, but I've yet to figure out if it's a digital or a physical issue.

My suspicion is that I have a lens that needs professional attention, but thought I would ask here in the event it is something else. Any ideas?

I got to admit that I don't think that I could have put up with this problem for a few years. I think the first thing I would have done, is buy a used 50mm as a comparison lens, or borrowed another EF lens from someone just to do some testing and narrow down if it is the lens or the camera at fault. I am guessing that it a lens problem. Has the lens ever been knocked or damaged?
