an image i took last summer, 2021, in Holland Park, London, i was out with my vintage pentagon looking for the bokeness, this one i found the background first then moved about to line up the foreground flowers with it. I would say in this image the subject is the background and not the in focus flower M50 + vintage pentacon 50mm ƒ1.8
You have done well in what you have set out to do, the boker does stand out. I think it does us all good to set to try something a little different and to achieve success from it.
I do really like these sorts of images. They are very different with the final result compared to a modern computer designed lens. I have thought about getting a few of these older lenses for the very reason that you have presented here. Gary
nope, straight out of camera jpeg, i cropped it a bit but i see now that it looks better with a bit more off the top when the flower is dead center the trees in the background were the evergreen brown ones hence the slight shade of red to them. that day i took bokeh shots with no foreground subject at all!!
