    Very nice image, Scott.
The early morning golden glow of the sunrise really makes the image, I don't take many of these types of image. I believe you have to get out of bed before 9.00 in the morning to take them.

Thanks. I like to get out early before the wildlife wake up. Here is another one I took about 30 minutes earlier. Notice the difference in the color of the clouds.

It really is. We are fortunate to have several lakes here in East TN. They are all part of the TVA lake system. I usually photograph the Osprey & great Blue Heron. Here's one I took a couple weeks. Hank & Friend 2.jpg

Thanks. I consider myself to be a better birder photographer than landscapes. The closest Heron was about 25 yards away & the other was 100 yards or more.

I like this image,Scott, the light on the bird makes it well lit and the darkened negative space to the right does not detract from the main element in the image.

If I may suggest, the shiny board on the shore line (not sure what it is) is a bit distracting. My eye went directly to it at first glance. That can perhaps be masked out,

I didn't notice it until you mentioned it. The green brush is a bit too light as well. I'll do some additional PP & repost in a few days. Thanks for the suggestion.
