    I've noticed that we don't get many monochrome images in the forum so here's one to be going on with.

    Ashi Super - Takumar 1.8 / 55mm,
    very nice, great contrast with a bit more on the lighter side, suits this subject very well
    reminds me of the time i saw Rod Stewart in the pub back lit by a window

    Thank you Caladina but I'm not going to be able to look at this photo again without seeing his face peering through the spines and Maggie May playing in the background. :(:D

    well, i had my M50 and the sigma 17-50mm ƒ2.8 with me on that day, all the old biddies were getting images with Rod on their phones, i wasn't that interested my self but i saw him back lit on the window and asked if i could get a picture, he took one look at the lens and asked what's it for and who do you work for, lol, i told him it was just for me but the lens must have looked too pro and he declined, which was fine by me, i'd rather ask than to be bounced out the door lol

    Very enjoyable image and well done with the B&W. Almost a high key effect. I do love good B&W. Well presented.
