Went out today to try out my new Canon EF 50mm f1.8 lens on the full frame 1Ds. The Entrance Channel. C0EW1937 by Ray Allen, on Flickr The Entrance Beach, C0EW1939 by Ray Allen, on Flickr C0EW1941 by Ray Allen, on Flickr C0EW1944 by Ray Allen, on Flickr
Thanks, Gary. It's not the latest model but I am super happy with it. It is better than some of the reviews I read.
Good choice of lens, Ray. Those 50mm f1.8 plastic fantastic are great, it was my first lens I really got serious about photography with and it low light use is brilliant. I still have it in my camera bag.
After viewing your photos you have taken with your 50mm f1.8 lens on the full frame 1Ds. I felt somewhat inspired and took my Photography Class down to Richmond Village and my 1D and 50mm. My only problem was I left my polarizing filter in another camera bag. Here are some of the photos I took
Hi Craig, I am glad that I inspired you. I love that bridge. There must be lots of great opportunities for images in that area.
Richmond Bridge was built in 1853 and the Village was formally declared a township in 1854. It is now a tourist trap with the surrounding area farming.
