The fiery furnace

    One of the bronze founders tending to the furnace at our golden wedding celebrations, where they cast a commemorative bell for us. The green flame coming from the top of the furnace is caused by copper from the bronze evapourating off.

    A very interesting image, John, I used to have a small forge for making hunting knives out of worn out bearings.
