Seascapes The Long Jetty in mono.

    Today I did something I had not done before. I made the 4 minute walk to the end of the long jetty in the suburb of Long Jetty. Canon EOS-1Ds, Canon EF 28-80mm 1:3.5-5.6.

    Here is the view from the end of the jetty looking back to the shore:

    Looking good Ray. I think that there could be the option of doing some long exposure shots at this location.

    I like the shots Ray as the jetty leads the eye into the background and it the black and white suits the scene.

    Yes, that could be an option, Gary, but you would need a nice still day. It was a bit windy today but a lot more windy than I expected when I got to the end of the jetty. It was much windier than it was on the shore. With no wind, the water in the lake can become very glassy and that is good for photography.
