Way back when I had a Manfrotto 3021 Pro and it was a great tripod. I ended up giving it away in 2018. I am now in need of a new tripod and it seems Manfrotto does not make that model. I liked that one due to the center column which made macro work low to the ground easy. What would be a few to look at? It can just be legal or legs/ball head. I was looking at this Neewer one, but not 100% sure about it. The heaviest lens I have is a Tamrom 70-210 f/4 and it gets a little longer when you add a whole set of extension tubes. I am using the tripod mount on my EFM to EF adapter since I do not have the tripod collar for the lens.

EDIT: Should add my budget is ~$150 for this

i don't use tripods alot so my experience with them is relatively low.
i do have 3 benro carbon fibre ones, the one i have that might be worth looking at is the benro go classic, the center column can go horizontal so has quite a few positions it can get into.
i've had my sigma 100-400mm + two x2 converters and M50 on it and its been fine.
i have the ball head it came with and the benro 3way geared head

i also have the mini SC08 that i have used with the same lens set up, though its a overly large set up for the mini one it handles the weight just fine which i guess says something about the build and construction of the benro carbon fiber ones

Will add that to my list to look at. I pretty much need a tripod. I am in no way steady these days, even when I am sitting in my wheelchair. You would think that would help me, but no. heh. I have a temp tripod but it is junk. You have to lock it down 3" higher than where you want it to end up cause it will droop down. I kinda just used it w/o locking the ball head down. It helps me keep it somewhat stable.

the ball head seems fine, doesn't tend to droop, i got the 3 way geared head because i photograph planets when i can, having the geared adjustment ment i could make small adjustments at 800mm+ without it taking 6 weeks to find the planet again.
the 3way geared head is a manual one not a motorized one,

have you thought about making an a frame that can mount to the front of the wheel chair with a camera mount on it ?

I just need a good secure ball head. Of course, it could be the adapter that is causing the wiggle. I have thought about making my own brace that has a 1/4"-20 mount to it that I can attach to both the camera and the EFM adapter tripod mounts. I just feel the adapter is a little cheap. wjocj ot was. Or it could be my old macro focus rail that I have had for 10 years.
