    Hi
New here so sorry if this is obvious but I don't know much about video. I have a 5dmk4 and recently shot some video that I want to put on Youtube. When I look on the SD card there is no trace of the video so I can't import to my MAC but it will play on the camera. It recorded as a MOV file, so can anyone help me find and import these video clips and what am I doing wrong?
    Thanks

Well to keep it short and sweet, I would start with the Movie utility for your operating system and see if it can read the file from your card. I have seen some threads about compatibility with importing large move files over 4 gigs so that may play a role in the situation too.

You also have the format issue, but if you formatted the card in camera like you should that shouldn't be an issue. But for instance if have a old drive or card formatted in FAT32 you could have issues with mac even reading it. I doubt this is the issue just mentioned it for reference as there could be a number of possibilities.

Thanks for the reply. I always format in camera so that shouldn't be an issue.
