Hello! I am looking to purchase a Vixia g30 that someone is selling at a low cost due to a zoom issue. The camera will zoom in, and then zoom out automatically without tilting the rocker switch the opposite way. A friend of mine had the same issue with a g40, and told me that that the only thing he had to do was factory reset the unit, and that fixed the problem. There was an article on the official Canon forum page, but there were no solutions that didn't involve sending the unit to Canon to have them fix it. Has anyone else had this same issue and can recommend some quick fixes? Thanks
