Why is there not a subforum for Speedlites?!?!

    Where is one supposed to post a question about Speedlites? Which I coincidentally have.

    We have a forum for Canon Cameras. And under that are the different models.
    EOS digital SLR's
    EOS M
    EOS R
    Canon Film SLRs (Film? Really Film and no Speedlites!)
    PowerShot

    And then we have Lenses and Accessories. And under that"
    Canon Lens
    Bags, Tripods and Accessories
    DIY?!?!?!?!? Really? what's DYI

    I mean I know DIY is Do It Yourself but DIY what?

    Anyway, where does one post about Speedlites?

    Welcome to the Forum, matonanjin, have a look through "Bags, Tripods and Accessories. There is speedlite information and discussions there, putting a subsection in for everything associated with Canon cameras would make contents page way too large.

    Sheez. I was hardly suggesting that there be a "subsection in for everything associated with Canon cameras"! I'm not sure your sarcastically suggesting that is constructive.

    I continue be of the opinion there is enough content, or would be, for a separate Speedlites subforum. We'll leave it there.

    Its a fair question, oddly nobody mentioned it till now. Go ahead and use the accessories sub forum until we get one added.

    I will continue to use the accessories sub forum for the couple questions I have. And maybe nobody mentioned it till now because others don't see the need. I hope you don't add the subforum based purely on the whinings of some chubby, old retired sports shootero_O

    I noted your suggestion and will think about adding it. With a community this small, adding too many sections will make it harder to find things, but if we start to have a lot of topics about it, then at that point it would make sense to add more sections.
