Craig, The ring light has worked very well, giving the subject natural lighting.
I also knew about the existence of ring flashes, but they were very expensive, in the seventies of the last century.

The food varies according to the time of year and the food that we can obtain, traditionally they have been adapting to the uses and possibilities of elaboration.

I love tomatoes but unfortunately they cause my arthritis to flare up if I over indulge so caution is needed. Oddly, they don't seem to have as strong effect if they are in cooked dishes - or perhaps it's just me.

José, I have 4 of them, the only reason is they were super cheap when they come into Vinnies where I volunteer. I grabed them for my class to use. This is the second time I have used them. I am still coming to terms on how best to use them.

I dunno know Craig but what differs us from most, if not all other animals. is that we keep having a nibble in the hope that the issue will go away - or I do anyway.

Unfortunately for us down here in Tasmania, we are in autum, so it's winter vegetables that are more common,

Thumbnail, I like the photo, the lighting, the detail and the composition are excellent, the red color always attracts and the drops of water give the image freshness.

Salt has long been used to preserve food, and it is still used today. The photograph shows a cod loin, after 5 days in water in the fridge. Bacalao desaladah.jpg
