August Monthly Challenge - "Pick a Color: Red"

I thought it might be of interest if I showed some idea of the scale of these images..

 

A predominantly red fruit, in a sea of pale green, lovely image Caladina. I had to cheat a little to get mine as a solitary red colour.

 

Nice image, Kevin, the blurd fore and backgrounds enhance the colour of the car.
If you go bac into your post, you can remove he two extra images if you want by high-liting ([TTACH=full]17116[/TTACH] [TTACH=full]17116[/TTACH]). ( I removed the A's in the line so the image do not show up in this post as well) Then hit delete. you will be back to one image.

 

A walk round a local garden centre revealed anothercandidate for this months challenge and a subject I enjoy photographing - old machinery.

A grab shot just as it started to rain but I thought it would make a nice addition to the challenge.

Sorry about the mushy reds but the rain put paid to a thoughtful exposure.

 

This RED is located everywhere.

 

On my morning walk I was on the lookout for more Challenge subjects and I came acoss this fine assemblage.

 

Instead of a dominate subject a mulitude of red, nicely spotted, Keith.

One of my school friend's father owned a service station with this sign (Ampol) I thnk and his father always told us you need the horse piss to get the horse power when it come to petrol.

Wow, that's certainly eye-catching Caladina. I'm guessing it's one of the bracket fungi - or a screwed-up red rag. Nice one.
