August Monthly Challenge - "Pick a Color: Red"

Thumbnail, nice photo, it's a pity that the steering wheel is missing

 

Looking for the color red, I found some samples on this shelf in the Torredembarra apartment. Since I retired, every day I read more history books. Hope you like it .

I thought I would take a image opposite to the letterbox and take one of the postbox, this one is about the best I could find all the others were badly graffied. The first image has been nicely maintained for some years now and the second left out uncared for.
Yes we do have a range of idiots who wander around down here in Tasmania, clearly not spending enough time in school, you could tell by the poor selection of a graffi pen they used and their poor attempt at "art work".

 

It looks in pristine condition Craig, is it surrounded by a minefield and guarded by rabid dogs to keep the 'street artists' at bay.

 

Keith, this one has only just been replaced, the nuts haven't had time to rust yet.

The mailbox looks perfect, well cared for and bright red, it is barely visible. In Barcelona they are yellow with the words in blue and a drawing in lighter yellow, I think that after five minutes they are decorated in all colors and themes.

 

I got a present from my aunt about five years ago, it was this miniature fishing boat that I have on top of my buffet, and it has a red stripe on it, so I photographed it.

Old Film Bloke, stunning display of red in the photograph of the flags

 

Among the photographs I have in Torredembarra, I found this one from last year, the bridge over the train tracks. A lady dressed in red passes over the bridge at the time of taking the photo. In the PSP editor, I have set the saturation to 0, to the inverted selection of the red dress, and this has been the result.
