February Monthly Challenge - "Starts with Letter F"

In a bastion, on the outside of the wall, is this fountain, decorated in the shape of a shell, hence its name "Font de la Patchina" in the Valencian language. It has two inscriptions, the first of which Philip II ordered it to be built, and the second an inscription in Latin that refers to the fact that the Romans channeled water to that place. A photo of the fountain,shot the same day in Peñiscola .

 

The same day, at dusk, we went to sleep in another nearby town, called Vinaroz, (Vinaròs, in the Valencian language), which was celebrating the election of the Carnival Queen, of the carnivals that will be next week. So we could enjoy accompanying the event they made some fireworks. Two photos of the fireworks.
