View attachment 4449 A neat looking cup Ray, I have had cups that looks like a 24 to 105 EOS lens come into Vinnies and customers ask to look at the lenses in our display cabinet thinking they could be buying a lens for 5 dollars, only to find when they pick it up that it is a cup. The look of excitement and to see there face change to disappointment is obvious and guaranteed they all will try and undo the fake lens cap on the bottom of the cup.
I forgot to mention that the name of the promotion was "Mug Shots". Quite creative. Yes, I have seen those coffee cup lenses. They are very realistic.
Did a split conversion with the bird in color and rest in b&w. This is a Cormorant landing on the lake.
Sundar, what you have done has turned out quite well, the gentile colours of the bird really stand out against the monotone background
A very interesting shot, Gary with it's use of light, shape and shadow. It has lent it self well to black and white photography
This is a very colorful scene but wanted to see how it may look in the b&w world. This is a scene at dusk over marsh land. My focus was on the reflection of reeds on the marsh.
looks pretty neat, Sundar, sort off dark and foreboding. In the highlands of Tasmania when it lookg like this the is snowy conditions coming.
Thanks Craig. Nobody in his/her right mind would do a b&w conversion of such a colorful scene (it is #1 in Dusk over Marsh posted earlier) but did it anyway.
Thought this makes an interesting conversion. This is a female Asian Cuckoo. The scene is almost b&w with the exception of birds eye and a few leaves in the focal plane.
