I’ve been onto an amateur photographer who uses the sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens with the 4000D, with no issues around the autofocus. So I think I’ll give it a lash and I’ll report back!

not sure on this but one of the af issues could be the sigma x2 in use with the sigma 150 600, it sounds unlikely but i'm often questioned on how i get x2 and af then they quote the sigma code for the x2, all i can say is i dont have a problem with canon x2, is anyone able to test both converters with a 150-600?
i have been looking at the 150-600 sigma also, its not a must have as i do have the 100-400 which is a great walk a bout telephoto where as the 150-600 probably more of a take it to a loc and set it up there?, + i don't have a tripod yet
